Exceptional evening ``La Rencontre des Cheffes`` at Beau-Rivage Genève

On Monday, April 1st, the seventh edition of the “Rencontre des cheffes” will take place at Beau-Rivage Genève. On this occasion, Dominique Gauthier, Michelin starred chef at Le Chat-Botté restaurant, invites some of the great names in women’s Swiss gastronomy to cook live in the event rooms of Beau-Rivage Genève.

 

During an exclusive cocktail dinner, guests will be able to discover or rediscover four renowned Chefs who will share their passion. Throughout the evening, “live cooking” will allow chefs to cook in a new format and offer their interpretation of “haute gastronomy”, revealing the excellence of their know-how to guests. More than an evening, a unique experience to live, in an atmosphere as friendly as it is prestigious. During these ephemeral workshops, the chefs, Irma Dütsch, Silvia Manser, Margaux Stepczynski and Noradee Jumnong will offer ten dishes, signatures of their personal cuisine.

 

Irma Dütsch, the first Swiss woman to receive a Michelin star, is passionate about the product. Although she has now left the kitchen, she has not stopped and is now a consultant and author. Her latest book, “Amitié gourmande” was written with 23 friends.

 

Silvia Manser is a Michelin star chef at Truube restaurant in Gais, rated 16/20 by the Gault & Millau guide. In her restaurant, she offers a cuisine inspired by the nature in her surroundings and uses classic ingredients to create fully contemporary flavours.

 

Head chef at Goat in the Garden restaurant in London, Margaux Stepczynski has worked with Gordon Ramsay and other chefs. Passionate about travel, this 27-year-old globetrotter feeds her cuisine with her inspirations from around the world, combining creativity, spontaneity and mathematical rigour in her dishes.

 

Noradee Jumnong is the head chef at Patara, the Thai-inspired restaurant in Beau-Rivage Genève. It distills with exotic delicacy and distant flavours that invite you to travel. She has made this Thai gourmet restaurant a real reference in this field.
